Gate Cruise offers a limited number of cabins on it’s maiden voyage. We’re excited to get the cast back together for another amazing adventure!

Richard Dean Anderson
Richard Dean Anderson is an internationally celebrated actor and producer, best known for two iconic television roles. He first rose to global prominence as the resourceful secret agent Angus MacGyver, whose ability to solve complex crises using everyday objects became a pop culture phenomenon. He later transitioned to science fiction as Colonel Jack O’Neill in Stargate SG-1. Serving also as an executive producer, Anderson was instrumental in transforming the series into a massive global franchise. Renowned for his signature wit and grounded heroism, he remains a fan favorite while dedicating his time to environmental and humanitarian causes.
Amanda Tapping
Amanda Tapping is a celebrated actress and director, best known for her 12-season tenure as Colonel Samantha Carter in the Stargate franchise. She further solidified her industry influence as the lead and Executive Producer of Sanctuary. An accomplished director, Tapping has helmed episodes of Stargate SG-1, Primeval: New World, and Arctic Air, earning multiple Leo and Saturn Awards for her work. Beyond the screen, she co-founded the comedy troupe Random Acts and is a dedicated humanitarian. Through her foundation, “Sanctuary for Kids,” and support for organizations like UNICEF and the Waterkeeper Alliance, she remains a tireless advocate for children in crisis and global social issues..
Michael Shanks
Michael Shanks is a Canadian actor best known for his portrayal of Dr. Daniel Jackson on Stargate SG-1. His nuanced performance as the linguist-turned-explorer earned him a Leo Award for Best Male Lead and multiple Saturn Award nominations. Shanks expanded his contribution to the franchise by directing the Season 4 episode “Double Jeopardy” and co-writing “Evolution (Pt 1)” in Season 7. Beyond the SGC, Shanks appeared in Stargate: Atlantis and the Emmy-winning Door to Door. A classically trained actor, he honed his craft at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival before becoming a cornerstone of the Stargate universe.
Rachel Luttrell
Rachel Luttrell is an accomplished actress and singer best known for her starring role as Teyla Emmagan on Stargate Atlantis. For five seasons, she portrayed the fierce Athosian leader, bringing a unique blend of strength, diplomacy, and vulnerability to the Pegasus Galaxy. Her background in the Russian Academy of Classical Ballet and musical theater—including the Canadian premiere of Miss Saigon—allowed her to perform many of her own stunts and showcase her vocal talents during the series.Before joining the Stargate franchise, Luttrell appeared in ER, Charmed, and the film Impostor. She remains a beloved figure in the science fiction community.
Paul McGillion
The sixth of seven children, Paul’s family emigrated to Canada from Paisley, Scotland when he was just 2 years old. He returned to Scotland during his early teens for a few years before heading back to Canada. Paul has a degree in Teaching and while studying at University, got involved in various sports including wrestling. After graduating the actor began his career teaching theatre in Toronto, squeezing in time to attend auditions, finally making the move to Vancouver. Paul has worked extensively in film, TV and the theatre for the last 12 years, as well as teaching scene study in 1998 & 1999 at the respected Vancouver Film School.
Jewel Staite
Canadian actress Jewel Staite is a beloved fixture of the Stargate franchise, most notably for her role as Dr. Jennifer Keller in Stargate Atlantis. Initially introduced in Season 3, Keller became the expedition’s Chief Medical Officer following the death of Dr. Carson Beckett. Staite’s portrayal of the brilliant but occasionally uncertain surgeon earned her critical acclaim and a permanent spot in the main cast for the show’s final season.Interestingly, her Stargate debut was actually under heavy prosthetics as Ellia, a tragic young Wraith in the Season 2 episode “Instinct.” Beyond the Pegasus Galaxy, Staite is legendary in sci-fi for playing Kaylee Frye in Firefly.
Torri Higginson
Canadian actress Torri Higginson returns to the Stargate universe as Dr. Elizabeth Weir, the intelligent, compassionate, and resolute leader of the Atlantis expedition. She first introduced the character in Stargate SG-1 before starring in the first three seasons of Stargate Atlantis, with memorable recurring appearances in season four. Warm, witty, and deeply appreciative of the Stargate fandom, Torri is thrilled to set sail with fans on Gate Cruise. Whether sharing stories from the Atlantis control room, answering questions about expedition life, or simply connecting at sea, she’s looking forward to an unforgettable voyage beyond the event horizon.
Joe Flanigan
Joe Flanigan started his career in politics working as an advance man at the White House. That was followed by a stint at Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine until finally settling At Sanford Meisner’s Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. He was quickly cast in several NBC projects and eventually put under contract there as a series regular for NBC ‘Sisters’ alongside Sela Ward and Swoosie Kurtz. This was followed with another series regular role…… Don Bellisario’s First Monday on CBS starring Charles Durning & Joe Mantegna. He was then cast on Garry Marshal’s The Other Sister alongside Diane Keaton, Juliette Lewis, and Giovanni Ribisi…… Some of Joe’s other TV credits include multiple recurring roles on Dawson’s Creek, Cupid, Providence, Profiler, and Women’s Murder Club, and was the star of Stargate Atlantis playing the role of Colonel John Sheppard which went into international syndication with 100 episodes.
